Originally from Japan, born in Brazil, and residing in France for over 30 years, Millie holds a master’s in architecture from Mackenzie American University in São Paulo. She began her career in the Luxury and Fashion industries as a Fashion Consultant for internationally renowned executive search firms in Paris like Floriane de Saint Pierre and Jouve & Associés.

In 2015, she joined Louis Vuitton where she spearheaded the internal headhunting program, with a strong emphasis on finding and recruiting creative talents. Her role at Louis Vuitton encompasses a wide range of areas, including Ready-to-wear, Leather Goods, Shoes, Textile Accessories, Costume Jewelry, Eyewear, Small Leather Goods, Textiles R&D, Fine&High Jewelry, Visual Image, Visual Merchandising, Architecture, Furniture, Art de Vivre, Art Direction, and Art Buying.

Driven by a passion for mentoring and finding the next generation of creative talents, Millie shares her expertise and Louis Vuitton’s values at Design Schools for Fashion, Product, and Architecture in Europe and the United States. She inspires students to pursue their dreams in the competitive fashion industry, hoping to create a future where luxury prioritizes creativity, excellence, innovation, and sustainability.
